360 Chartered Accountants is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Club Wilber.
Club Wilber is part of The Wilberforce Trust, York’s oldest charity, founded in 1833 and named in memory of the philanthropist and anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce.
Club Wilber offers specially adapted activities, events and trips suitable for families with visually impaired children and their siblings from the ages of 0 – 25 years.
Adrian Hunter, Managing Director of 360, which opened its York branch at Blake House in the city centre earlier this year, said:
“We are thrilled to be working with the team at Club Wilber and are looking forward to helping this amazing charity in any way we can. It is plain for all to see how much the team there enhances the lives of children throughout York and the surrounding areas and we are excited about our future journey with them.”
Wilberforce Trust Operations Director and brainchild of Club Wilber, Samantha Scholey-Dyson, said:
“We are delighted to welcome 360 as one of our sponsors. Support from a business like theirs is vital to our charity, particularly as demand for our children’s services is growing across Yorkshire. We provide a lifeline to many families with visually impaired children because it can be a lonely experience for young people and their parents, who often don’t know anyone else in the same position.
“Club Wilber is a place where the whole family can enjoy affordable, stress-free outings and activities on an equal footing and thus create happy memories that every family deserves to have. It’s also a chance to spend time with others who share their experiences and with whom they can exchange support and advice and build long-lasting friendships.”
