What to look for in podcast headphones

Comfort: Comfort is key for extended podcast listening. Look out for earbuds that come with multiple ear tip options, so you can find the right fit for your ears. For on-ear and over-ear headphones, a padded headband in soft materials will help.

Wired or Wireless: Will you be listening to podcasts on the move? If so, wireless headphones might suit your needs better. If you’re going to be sat listening at a desk, then wired headphones might be a better option.

Sound Isolation: You want your headphones to block out outside noise, such as traffic or other distracting low-level noise. Look for headphones that contour around the ears for excellent sound isolation in loud environments or with a noise-cancelling mode, like the CKS50TW earbuds.

Frequency Response: Frequency response is the range of bass, mids and treble. Ideally, you want a flat frequency response, so the audio playback is accurate.
