Bell & Buxton Solicitors Welcomes Josh Fenton-Hawkes as Head of Wills & Probate

Josh Fenton-Hawkes

Bell & Buxton is delighted to welcome Josh Fenton-Hawkes to the team. He has over 12 years of expertise in the legal field and is a proficient Wills, Trusts, and Probate Executive.
His specialisation encompasses various aspects of Estate Planning, such as creating Wills and Trusts, overseeing the administration of deceased estates, and managing Lasting Powers of Attorneys.

Originally from Doncaster but currently residing in Sheffield law runs in the family for Josh, as his mother boasts over 40 years of experience as a Property Lawyer. It was her that inspired Josh to embark on a legal career at Atteys Solicitors, where he initially worked at their Doncaster office before transitioning to the Trippet Lane office in Sheffield to meet the needs of the firm.

Following this, Josh continued his training at another branch under the guidance of the Head of the Wills, Trusts, and Probate Department. Following the closure of Atteys, he joined a local firm in North Nottinghamshire/southeast Doncaster. Here, Josh furthered his training in the Private Client area, managing a diverse workload that included Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate Administration, Agricultural Estate Administration, and Court of Protection work. Notably, Josh played a key role in managing the latter area.
In 2019, Josh undertook a significant opportunity overseeing a newly opened office. Over a four-year period, he built a team comprising four lawyers and six support staff, overcoming the challenges posed by the pandemic to ensure the success of both the team and the office.

With a background in Private Client work and a track record in management and business development, Josh has hit the ground running at Bell & Buxton and is looking forward to a productive 2024.

Upon starting his new role, Josh said: “I am thrilled to be joining Bell & Buxton and I look forward to settling into the role and helping to expand the business in 2024.”

Partner, Matthew Rodgers at Bell & Buxton added: “With his background in Private Client work and the boundless enthusiasm he brings, Josh will be a valuable addition to the team, and we look forward to working with him.”

“Josh will excel here at Bell & Buxton, bringing with him his background in Private Client work, he will be a valuable addition to the team. This year is set to see the organisation go through expansive growth and Josh will help us achieve our goals.”
