Staycation destination developer Actually Group will launch an exclusive new luxury retreat in beautiful North Yorkshire over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Actually Group’s ambition is to raise the bar for high-end staycation experiences and will showcase a new concept in luxury lodge holidays with the launch of Keld Spring Lodge Retreat.

Keld Spring is a flagship development of premium quality, low-carbon lodges, providing a unique addition to the UK’s high-end staycation market.

Actually Group is investing £4m in Keld Spring, which aims to redefine luxury lodges by blending architect-led design with contemporary elegance.

People aspiring to own a luxury holiday home in a prime location or investors seeking a high-yielding investment opportunity are being urged to register to attend the launch event, which is being held on site from Thursday, April 14, to Easter Monday, April 18, with the marketing suite open 9am-5pm each day.

Keld Spring occupies a picturesque nine-acre site enjoying panoramic views near the village of Wombleton in Ryedale, in the heart of the North Yorkshire countryside.

The development will feature 30 lodges, offering five-star luxury in an idyllic location with an abundance of natural, historic and cultural attractions nearby. Landscaping is well advanced on site, with the first lodges due to be in place by the end of May.

Keld Spring is located in one of the UK’s most desirable holiday locations, on the edge of the North Yorks Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills.

As well as some of Britain’s best walking country, the location offers easy access to many of the region’s leading attractions, including the historic city of York, the foodie capital of Malton, the beautiful market town of Helmsley, and the popular Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby seaside resorts. Yorkshire’s most magnificent stately home, Castle Howard, is also just a short drive away.

Keld Spring offers the perfect getaway in stylish, spacious and sustainable accommodation in a beautiful setting, while also presenting a lucrative investment opportunity with short-term holiday lets in high demand as the UK holiday market enjoys sustained growth.

Actually Group is retaining a number of lodges for short stay holiday rentals, with the majority ring-fenced for exclusive ownership or investment opportunities.

An innovative and ambitious new force in the buoyant UK staycation market, Actually Group offers a complete end-to-end package, from land acquisition and development, to lodge design and manufacturing, and destination management and marketing.

Specialising in low-carbon and environmentally sensitive developments, Actually Group has a growing portfolio of high-end developments in many of the UK’s most sought-after holiday locations.

Andy Sutton, CEO of Actually Group, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch event for Keld Spring and to invite potential owners to join us for the introduction of this exciting new concept in luxury staycation destinations.

“Keld Spring will offer innovative, luxurious living accommodation that offers the ideal recreational space inside and out, in a stunning location with so much to do and great places to visit nearby.

“It lays down a new marker for high-quality, sustainable holiday lodges on a site that complements its scenic setting and showcases the quality of staycation destinations we’re creating in many of the UK’s most beautiful regions.”

Rhodri Andrews, Marketing Director of Actually Group, said: “Keld Spring offers both a compelling lifestyle opportunity and a rewarding investment proposition.

“Owners of lodges at Keld Spring can enjoy luxury living while investing wisely in the lucrative UK holiday market which is forecast to continue to see long-term growth.

“The launch event offers the opportunity for buyers to be among the first to secure their own five-star home from home or investment property in a development that will pioneer the next-generation of exclusive staycation retreats.”

Actually Group is developing multiple sites across the UK, including in North Wales, Cumbria, Cornwall, Devon and North Yorkshire, and is aiming to create 15 new destinations, 1,000 lodges and 500 jobs by the end of next year.

Recently Actually Group announced the acquisition of Preseli Lodges and Garden Rooms, based in Pembrokeshire, west Wales. Now rebranded as Actually Lodges, the manufacturer will supply the ultra-low-carbon sustainable luxury lodges for Actually Group’s rapidly-growing portfolio of sites.
