Direct Voice and Data acquires Logical Telecom as part of its growth plans

Direct Voice & Data offers a range of telephone and IT services

Direct Voice and Data has acquired Logical Telecom as part of its ambitious growth through acquisition plans.

Huddersfield based, Direct Voice & Data, offers a wide range of telephone and IT services to companies and organisations of all sizes from both the private and public sectors. Leeds based, Logical Telecom, provides predominately voice and mobile communication solutions to a range of businesses. They both provide the very latest in internet unified communications.

The deal was secured in June 2018 and since then, the companies’ senior management teams have been working to merge the two under one brand. This includes developing one marketing and sales strategy, merging departments and migrating to the same back end systems. Direct Voice & Data have invested heavily in implementing Microsoft Dynamics, a premium customer relationship management software. They have also been training teams on new software and processes, as well as introducing professional development programmes.

The new purchase will see Direct Voice & Data double in size. The company has also recently recruited additional roles following the collaboration and it plans to further increase its headcount over the coming years.

Dave Henderson, Group CEO of Direct Voice & Data said, “We are delighted to welcome Logical Telecom into our business. We searched long and hard for a right-fit acquisition, one that shared our culture and vision of keeping our customers at the centre of what we do.”

The new synergy comes at a time when it is increasingly important that people are able to work remotely while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The recent epidemic, Coronavirus, has impelled companies to ensure they have the appropriate communication systems in place.

Dave added, “Our customers will benefit from our increase capacity and additional expertise. We are looking forward to helping more organisations streamline their communications, meanwhile addressing demand and giving support to help cope with the current viral threat of Coronavirus.”
