Earlier this month AWB Charlesworth Solicitors appointed Liz Coe, Solicitor and Naheed Akhtar, Conveyancing Executive as the latest additions to their residential property department.
Naheed is a Conveyancing Executive and, having trained at a city firm in Leeds, brings to the team over twelve years of conveyancing experience acting for residential and commercial clients. Liz qualified as a Solicitor after studying at Manchester Metropolitan University and completing her final exams at Leeds Metropolitan University. Liz worked as a property lawyer at the firm’s Skipton office for several years followed by ten years as in-house property lawyer for a Bank. She is delighted to be returning to private practice, this time based at the firm’s Bingley office, with a mixed caseload of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages.
Declan Hayes, Head of Residential Property said: “I am delighted to welcome Liz back to the firm. Having gained several years of experience in the banking sector, she is a welcome addition to our Bingley office. Naheed will be joining our busy Keighley team and her experience of acting for both residential and commercial clients will be a valuable resource as we continue to represent individuals and businesses throughout the Aire Valley in a wide range of property transactions”.
