Medilink partner with The SEO Works for website overhaul

Market-leading professional association and specialist consultancy Medilink have recently revealed their brand new website – designed and developed by the award-winning Web team at The SEO Works.

Life Sciences is a fast-moving industry, and whilst Medilink’s expertise sees them at the forefront of the sector in supporting their members, the team felt as though their online presence in the website didn’t quite match this.

Built on a very specific proprietary system, the website began to reach a number of different functionality limitations and in turn, suffered from an SEO perspective. Feeling that their digital growth was on pause due to the limitations posed by their current website, it felt like a clear decision to begin exploring potential avenues to improve this.

In order to fulfil their ambitious business objectives, and push themselves up to the top of the search results, they needed a platform that was flexible and provided them with the perfect technical springboard. Also, despite a strong brand awareness within their sector, it was felt that this wasn’t reflected by the site itself – they wanted something that caught the attention of users. This is where The SEO Works came in.

What followed was a website that completely fit the bill for Medilink. The feature-rich brochure site was built using the most up-to-date version of WordPress – a specialism for the Sheffield-based digital agency. In order to meet the requirements set, the award-winning team completely restructured the site, adding a fresh blog section, creating a new home for all things event and awards, an impressive membership directory and more.
