Leading law firm Rollits LLP is to host a free discussion on changes to employment law as a recent survey reveals a lack of awareness of some significant developments.
A survey published by ACAS in March reported that 43 per cent of employers and 70 per cent of employees were in the dark about changes which took effect this month to the statutory flexible working regime.
Other modifications have resulted in increases in the National Minimum Wage and in the maximum statutory redundancy entitlement. There were also updates which affect family leave redundancy protection, statutory flexible working, carers leave and paternity leave. In addition the Information Commissioner’s Offices has released an update to its guidance on employee monitoring.
The changes and the implications are among the issues to be discussion at the employment law seminar which will take place at Rollits’ office in High Street, Hull, from 9am until 10.30am on Tuesday April 23.
