In line with growth ambitions, Huddersfield-based online booking platform UKcaravans4hire.com has appointed two new customer service advisors to the team with the aim of growing the host and user base to meet its 2020 business goals.

The two new customer service advisors include Safeera Khan, who has a background in travel, leisure and hospitality and Anna Ford, who boasts vast experience in customer service, including at NHS Direct and Liverpool Victoria.

The appointments are the result of recent growth for the business, which provides a platform for static caravan owners to list their caravans and for holiday-goers to book them in a similar style to AirBnB. The business recently launched a new booking platform that allows guests to book and pay via UKcaravans4hire.com rather than directly with the owner, providing peace of mind and ease of use for all parties.

Both customer service advisors will have the responsibility of liaising with caravan owners to help maximise the effectiveness of their rental listing and to assist guests with bookings and queries, as well as the day-to-day running of the website.

Gareth Irving, Managing Director of UKcaravans4hire.com, commented: “I am extremely pleased to welcome Anna and Safeera to our team. This is an exciting time for the business as recent growth and ambitious goals mean that 2020 will be a busy year for us.

“These appointments are a big step for the business as we focus on pushing bookings now that the infrastructure for the new online booking platform is finalised. Having extra staff will allow us to continue providing excellent customer service to both owners and guests as demand grows.”

UKcaravans4hire.com is looking to increase turnover by over 75% in the next financial year after achieving turnover growth of 40% in the last. Investment in staff and promotion of the platform, alongside a rise in the popularity of staycations due to environmental concerns and a change in the perceptions of static caravan stays, means that the business looks set to achieve this goal in the coming year.
