Yorkshire agency Wild PR shortlisted for two categories at Prolific North Champions Awards

Huddersfield-based PR and marketing agency Wild PR has been shortlisted in two categories at the 2023 Prolific North Champions Awards.

The SEO focused PR agency has been shortlisted in B2C Campaign of the Year (budget of less than £50,000) for its Disney Baby Names campaign on behalf of eCommerce business The Kid Collective, and in the B2B Campaign of the Year category for its Tool Theft Hotspots campaign for asset disposal specialist BPI Auctions.

The Champions Awards celebrate the achievements of digital, creative and marketing agencies and teams across the North. Agencies and in-house teams are honoured, as well as campaign awards for specific sectors such as healthcare, travel and corporate.

The Kid Collective, a sustainable children’s toy brand, has been shortlisted for its Disney Baby Names campaign, a reactive campaign in response to the birth of Love Island star Molly Mae Hague’s daughter. In total, 112 pieces of coverage and 89 followed links were achieved from the campaign, leading to a 78% increase in checkout completions, a 70% increase in transaction and a revenue increase of 74%.

The Tool Theft Hotspots campaign, which was developed for online asset disposal specialists BPI Auctions, looked at the regions across the UK that were most affected by tool theft crimes. The campaign secured 45 pieces of regional and wishlist industry coverage and 39 backlinks, leading to referral traffic increasing by +9.6%, organic traffic increasing by 15% and page views by 12.7%. The firm also saw an increase in bidding registrations (+54%).

Speaking on the shortlist, Katrina Cliffe, managing director and founder of Wild PR, said: “We are thrilled to have two of our client campaigns shortlisted in this year’s awards. The two campaigns highlight the wealth of PR activity we deliver for our clients – from jumping on reactive trending topics to developing robust data campaigns that position our clients as authoritative voices in their sectors.

“We are so pleased to be up against some of the biggest agencies in the North, and the team are so excited to celebrate their hard work and amazing results they secure for all of our clients every single day. Best of luck to all those shortlisted, and we look forward to celebrating the winners!”.

Wild PR works with businesses both local and afar and across different sectors to raise brand profile, increase online visibility and drive growth through traditional and digital PR and marketing.

The online ceremony will be held on the 18th May 2023.
